Life coaching takes the client from where they are to where they want to be. - Fern Gorin, LPI

What is Life Coaching?

The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as, "partnering with clients in a thought provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential."

Life coaches work with clients to name their goals and identify obstacles and challenges that keep them from making progress. Coaches provide strategies that align with a clients' strengths, unique skill set and personality so that any steps the clients takes will lead to lasting change.

What is Self-Discovery?

Self-Discovery is a process where a client engages in a series of questions, assessments and activities that help the client learn more about themselves, who they are and what they want in all areas of their life.

Clients will create a list of ideal components of their life or career and a list of possibilities to pursue.

Clients are also given the opportunity to learn more about themselves through Myers Biggs and Enneagram personality platforms.

Those who might benefit from self-discovery include clients:

ready for a career or life change

yearning to better know themselves

wondering what the next step will be

looking to build confidence to take the next step

wanting to feel more integrated with themselves and their values
